B Brian Atwood

I was floored when I heard famed shoe designer, Brian Atwood, decided to make a more budget friendly shoe collection. I loved his eccentricity and fearless approach to women’s shoes, and so did the rest of Hollywood. However, upon seeing the new line, I can’t lie, they left me a bit disappointed. I also don’t know that going from a $600 price point to $400 is that drastic of a change, but no one asked me. What do you think?

Let the countdown begin…

Target has entered into yet another FABULOUS fashion house collaboration, and it is sure to be brilliant! Next up, the one and only Missoni, set to launch on September 13th. Ahh, for the love of multi-colored zig-zags, I am beyond thrilled! Ranging from clothes, to bed sheets to bikes, the 400 piece collection will be priced from $2.99 to $599.99. See some great preview images below! Oh, and a little tid bit I stumbled on, the $599.99 price point is a patio set!! Can you even imagine how brills it will be?!

Jimmy Who?

I had been scouring the internet over the past few months for a knock off of the ah-mazing Jimmy Choo “Private” and had zero to show for it…until now. It is such a classic yet fun and trendy shoe, that I have been lusting over but I just couldn’t bring myself to spend the $$$. I am delighted to say someone (BCBG) has FINALLY gotten with the program and made a look-a-like, see for yourself!

Sheer Perfection

Model and Fashion icon, Kate Moss was married yesterday in Southrop, England. I had been speculating for weeks on what this stunner would pick! Anyone who follows Moss’ style knows she would never do something frilly or ruffly, so I was dreaming of a very Carolyn Bessette bias-cut showstopper with a bit of edge. Looks like I got my wish, this dress is CRAZY AMAZING. It is the perfect blend of glamour and edge, but is still ethereal and romantic at the same time. John Galliano designed the dress and is certainly proving he still produces great work, legal dramas aside.

The leggy blonde is also having a THREE day reception which will feature three Stella McCartney ensembles. No pictures yet but I have been able to find a few brief descriptions. According to Vogue, for her first dance, she will wear an oyster silk chiffon dress with an embroidered bodice and cut-out back. Afterwards, she will change into a mini, body-con, beaded dress featuring a plunging back (dying to see this one). She will depart in a three piece, single breasted, white wool suit –- so classic!

For those of you, like me and my friends who really have no idea who her fiancé is,I did a little research. Jamie Hince is the guitarist for The Kills, oops probably should have known that! Yves Saint Laurent created Hinces’ ensemble.

Current Obsession: Armonia Decors

I was literally stopped in my tracks when I “clicked” the page of the latest issue of High Gloss and stumbled upon Armonia Decors. The designer behind the name, Emily Ruddo, has an uncanny ability to mix glam and traditional elements and turn them into stunning homes. Her portfolio showcases her extraordinary sense of style and I think I could find myself quite at home in any of her design projects. Check out the images below, and I bet you will agree with me!

Something about this room reminds me of Carrie’s apartment in Sex and the City, the movie. Love this wall color.

MAH-jor News

Dallas is in a tizzy as the most influential stylist and one of the biggest trendsetters of this decade is traipsing through our zip code tonight to show off her newest venture. For those of you who don’t know, Rachel Zoe has created her own ah-mazing clothing line set to launch this Fall and coming to a Neiman Marcus near me in August. I Die. It’s got a 70’s chic vibe that has me weak in the knees. Seriously, this will be bad for my shopping habit. Apologies fiancé.

I am not sure how I haven’t seen these photos a billion times already on the blog-osphere, but who I am to complain to be able to showcase them early.

Sharply tailored suits and sophisticated menswear round out Zoe’s collection.
