I found this recipe on my new favorite blog, Be Better Blog. Seriously, it’s brills and I suggest you check it out. She wrote about a Blackberry Tom Collins, and I was sold at the first ingredient. Yummm!!

Ingredients:
- Fresh Blackberries
- 1 tsp. Sugar
- 2 oz. Gin (I would sub Vodka)
- 3 - 5 oz. Soda Water
- Ice
- 1/2 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Method:
Take about 3-4 blackberries, lime juice, and sugar and muddle in a glass. Add ice, then pour in your Gin and soda. Garnish with more blackberries and enjoy. Clink!

B Brian Atwood
I was floored when I heard famed shoe designer, Brian Atwood, decided to make a more budget friendly shoe collection. I loved his eccentricity and fearless approach to women’s shoes, and so did the rest of Hollywood. However, upon seeing the new line, I can’t lie, they left me a bit disappointed. I also don’t know that going from a $600 price point to $400 is that drastic of a change, but no one asked me. What do you think?

A Plea for Fall
Another month almost gone, and yet the temps still remain in the hundreds. Unfortunately, my favorite season of the year is quite short lived in Texas. Insert daily chant, “must get to New York soon”. Anyways, since I still live here, I am going to pretend that orange colored leaves are falling all around me – welcome to my imagination.
And of course, some fall fashion inspiration…

A Party Fit for the Fitzgeralds
Official photos of the much anticipated Moss-Hince nuptials have finally been released! The September issue of Vogue, is chock full of fabulous details, interviews, and the marvelous work of Mario Testino. A girl after my own heart, Kate used the code name GG, in reference to their Great Gatsby themed wedding. “I wanted it to be kind of dreamy and 1920s, when everything is soft focus…That light and that kind of fun decadence. It’s rock-n-roll Great Gatsby,” says Kate. From the Victorian chandeliers,to Kate’s Zelda Fitzgerald inspired dress, I am left in love.
“The Second Looks Tent”, as seen below, was a venue created for guests to change in after the ceremony. Is this real life??
Oh hello leopard rug, I would like to get dressed in my wedding gown while standing upon you…
A few noteworthy guests
So you throw shoes, you’re still drop dead gorgeous
Jude Law and his not so estranged family…
The man behind the soles, Mr. Louboutin himself
The enchanting bride and with her father and gorgeous daughter
Kate, in her first dance dress, with her maids of honor… have you ever seen such a glamorous group of ladies? For the love of sequins, are you joking??!!
The best for last, the glittering couple…
